Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Warrenton GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will help manage entry points support badge and credential checks complete routine patrols and document security-related activity with clear professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies access control requirements and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at gates guard shacks and/or reception points by checking identification verifying credentials and work authorization issuing visitor badges and maintaining accurate access logs.
- Monitor alarms cameras and other access control systems; report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry theft and/or damage at the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications documenting events and supporting arriving responders per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses yards and the perimeter and complete required patrol documentation and observations per site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Having customer service experience is preferred.
- Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
