Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Waterloo IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance document observations and communicate clearly with site teams while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license supported by Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and the exterior perimeter reporting unusual activity hazards and/or maintenance concerns per post orders.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees contractors and delivery drivers assisting with visitor processing and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarm activations medical events and policy violations and notify Allied Universal supervision and site leadership as required.
• Complete detailed shift documentation including patrol activity incident reports and daily logs and support investigations by preserving observations and coordinating with local responders when requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
