As a Security Officer - Weekend Patrol Rover in Santa Clara CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will assist guests and tenants with clear communication document observations using a computer and/or tablet and respond to concerns with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients tenants shoppers and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property including common areas corridors loading areas parking lots and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and report unusual activity property damage hazards and/or policy violations and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with crowd management access control support and/or conflict de-escalation as directed by post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and participate in briefings and/or other site-specific training.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Have a state county or city issued security license preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
