Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Lahaina HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier residential community you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and respond to resident questions and concerns with outstanding customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring agility reliability and integrity as you support the team and build positive relationships on site.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and staff by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings common areas amenities parking areas and perimeter routes; conditions may vary by location and time of day.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls disturbances noise complaints and suspicious activity.
- Control access as directed by post orders by monitoring entrances verifying resident and/or visitor authorization and assisting with visitor check-in and/or directing traffic flow as needed.
- Document security-related activities patrol observations and incidents in written and/or electronic reports and communicate timely updates to site management and/or local responders when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
