As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Godfrey IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal on an education campus as an unarmed patrol officer conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols to help create a secure environment for students staff and visitors. You will remain highly visible respond to security-related concerns document observations and deliver customer service through clear communication and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements supported by our agile reliable and integrity-driven culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies access control procedures and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and calls for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using incident reports patrol logs and/or other required documentation and communicate key updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with crowd management and traffic or pedestrian flow during campus events shift changes and peak arrival or departure times as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
