What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors contractors and employees by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification verifying visitor and contractor authorization and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with evacuations and coordinating notifications per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity summaries and communicate pertinent information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
