Job Description
As a Security Guard Flex Armed Rover in Little Rock AR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will document observations communicate clearly with staff and visitors and deliver customer service with integrity and teamwork. This role requires an Armed Guard Card and/or license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff donors patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification monitoring visitor flow and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation documenting events and coordinating with site leadership and/or local public responders as needed.
- Complete timely reports logs and shift communications and maintain proper care accountability and authorized use of assigned equipment in line with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
