Job Description
As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist PT in Earth City MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel visitors and vehicles in a logistics and distribution environment.
- Verify credentials and permissions of individuals seeking access to restricted areas following established Allied Universal procedures.
- Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting individuals with directions or site-specific information as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Document observations incidents and activities in daily logs and/or reports as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain order and support security-related operations.
- Assist with emergency response activities including evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
