Job Description
As a Security Officer - PT Site Rover in ORLANDO FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location you will conduct routine foot patrols of terminals offices and perimeter areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for assistance. You will greet travelers and staff provide clear directions and document observations and incidents with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff travelers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government aviation facility.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals parking areas access roads and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas assist with visitor management and report suspicious behavior unsecured doors and/or restricted area concerns according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and local public agency partners as needed.
- Complete detailed written reports and log entries for patrol activity incidents and unusual conditions and communicate timely updates to supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
