What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff facility management and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors entrances parking areas and perimeter points documenting observations that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points assist with visitor direction and report suspicious behavior unsecured doors and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete required reports and logs including incident reports patrol documentation and shift activity summaries in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
