Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols stay highly visible and respond to incidents with clear communication and professionalism. You will help to reduce security-related concerns support access control and assist guests and store teams as needed. This post requires a valid drivers license and Level III Armed certification. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail sales floor back-of-house areas receiving docks and exterior perimeter adjusting to varying working environments and conditions.
- Monitor entrances exits and parking areas to help to deter theft trespassing and disorderly conduct and report suspicious activity per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation medical calls for service and coordination with law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete required documentation such as incident reports patrol logs and shift activity reports and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 Years of Age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification Texas only is required.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
