Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access control points verify identification and/or authorization and manage vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and public responders as directed.
- Complete timely reports and daily activity logs document incidents and follow-up actions and maintain required training and readiness for issued equipment in line with Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 or more years of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
