Delivery Driver Denton TX
Are you a safe driver with a focus on great customer service We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join a premier hardware distribution team in Denton. This is a Temp-to-Hire position that offers a steady 1st-shift schedule and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with a long-standing local company.
The Opportunity
Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour (Firm)
Shift: 1st Shift (Fixed Schedule)
Schedule: Monday Friday (Overtime as needed)
Vehicle: Automatic Ford Transit F350 Van (No CDL required)
Core Responsibilities
This role is a mix of local road time and hands-on warehouse support. You will be the face of the company to local clients.
Local Deliveries: Safely transport and deliver hardware products (nuts bolts fasteners) to customers in Lewisville Dallas Grand Prairie and surrounding areas.
Order Verification: Confirm all orders are accurate before loading and ensure successful documented drop-offs at client sites.
Warehouse Support: When not on the road you will assist with pulling orders staging products and organizing inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean vehicle and strictly follow all safety protocols and traffic laws.
Requirements & Qualifications
Driving Record: Must have a valid drivers license and a clean MVR (Driving Record).
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with loading/unloading.
Professionalism: Ability to interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
Compliance: Must pass a background check (Public Data) and a 5-panel drug screen.
Experience: Prior delivery or warehouse experience is preferred.
Work Environment & Dress Code
This position involves both indoor warehouse work and outdoor driving/deliveries in various weather conditions.
Attire: Presentable clean jeans (no holes) non-graphic t-shirts or polos and closed-toe shoes.
