As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Nashville TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher-education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control points and respond to calls for assistance with clear communication and a customer-service mindset. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within an educational campus setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access concerns disturbances medical calls and/or fire alarms and notifying appropriate campus contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings residence areas parking locations and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy issues.
• Monitor access points and common areas observe for unusual conditions and assist students staff and visitors with directions information and policy reminders in a professional manner.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrol activities incidents and observations and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
