Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Vehicle Driver in Taylorsville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or contractors at a government location by following post orders site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas documenting observations and reporting conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas verify identification and/or authorization and assist with screening of people vehicles and deliveries per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public agency partners as directed.
- Complete required security-related reports such as incident reports patrol logs and shift activity logs and communicate status updates through approved radio and/or phone channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
