Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Colorado Springs CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer on a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Using a Class B license with passenger endorsement you may support site transportation needs while delivering clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production or office areas parking areas and perimeter points noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization managing visitor check-in procedures and directing deliveries to approved locations in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess a valid drivers license Class B with passenger endorsement.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
