Airport Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrolin Lihue HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors.As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Experience in CCTV Monitoring and 1 year of security experience

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers visitors and staff by carrying out security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals curbside areas parking areas and perimeter routes; conditions may vary by assignment and weather.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas checking credentials and/or authorizations as required and reporting unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public agencies when needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents hazards and unusual activity through written reports and radio and/or phone communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
