As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Role in Culver City CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail mall location where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support shoppers and tenants with strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients tenants and shoppers by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior common areas exterior perimeters parking areas and service corridors to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with lost children procedures medical calls and disputes and coordinating with property management and first responders as needed.
• Monitor entrances loading areas and restricted zones observing for access issues loitering and policy violations and using verbal de-escalation and customer service skills to support order in a retail location.
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports communicate observations to site leadership and report hazards or security-related issues through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
