As a Security Officer Armed Credit Union Patrol in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services environment.
- Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
- Control access at designated posts by verifying identification managing visitor processing and monitoring restricted areas per post orders.
- Prepare clear written reports and logs of patrols incidents and unusual activity and handle issued equipment and firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Be 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
