Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Driver Rover in Darlington MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents support access points and assist employees and visitors with clear professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license per Allied Universal policy. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings access points operational areas and perimeter routes documenting observations and reporting irregular activity.
- Monitor and control access for employees contractors and visitors by verifying identification and/or authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
- Complete routine reports and logs including patrol activity incident documentation and shift turnover information in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
