As a Security Officer - Checkpoint Screening in Zionsville IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Screener where you will help support a secure operation by conducting security-related screening of people and packages using X-ray equipment when assigned verifying credentials and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct entry screening for employees visitors and/or vendors including verifying identification and credentials reviewing access lists and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
• Perform package bag and/or vehicle screening as assigned operate screening equipment when applicable and report prohibited items access issues and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with alarm response reporting hazards and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas dock zones and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access document observations and complete required activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
