Lead QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We areseekinga detail-orientedproactiveand experienced lead QA Automation Engineer to join our team
In this role you willbe responsible foridentifyand mitigate the main risks of our products by defining test Automation plans and strategies alwaysgeneratingand analyzing product quality metrics
Besides we are looking for a hands-on lead who can define and improve our TAF (Test Automation Frameworks) learn and understand the whole picture of the business and technical architecture to prioritize from the business and technical perspective the main activities of the QA Automation team members
The candidate must have broader experience in test automationlevelstechniques and tools. You will work closely with the development and product team members to preventidentifyand resolve issues ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and Manage the Product Risks to prioritize testing efforts accordingly
Implement and Maintain Automated test cases
Data creation/preparation for testing purposes
Data analysis and results interpretation
Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts
Perform manual and automated UI and API testing to identify defects and ensure product quality
Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and testing requirements
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and testability
Design and execute test plans test cases and test scripts
Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur
Identify document and track defects using bug tracking tools
Assistwith monitoring and analyzing quality metricsidentifytrends and implement corrective actions to continuously improve product quality
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA processes and practices
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
Raise product alerts
Distribute the workload between the QA Automation team members
To define Automation QA team priorities
To collectconsolidateand share QA Automation team results
Lead Mentor and Manage QA Automation Team members
Provide technical guidance and training to team members

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology ora relatedfield
10 years of experience in software quality assurance and Test Automation
Understanding ofQA methodologies tools and processes including manual and automated testing practices
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright Selenium JIRA TestRail etc.)
Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) software testing life cycle (STLC) Agile/Scrummethodologiesand DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communicationand collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Programing Skills and OOP experience
Required English level B2
Proven experience in leading QA Automation Teams and managing projects
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience in other automation levels and tools like Component (BE and FE) Contract Mutation Test etc

Hands-onexperience with:

Version control systems (GitHub / Bitbucketetc)
API testing tools (Retrofit /Micronaut HTTP client /REST Assuredetc)
UI testing frameworks such as Selenium Selenide orPlaywright; strong XPath knowledge
Understanding of test runners (JUnit / TestNG) build tools (Gradle / Maven)
CI/CD tools and processes (TeamCity / Jenkins)
Docker
Familiarity with DI frameworks(Micronaut/Springetc)
Use of AI and Vibe Coding experience

Preferred Qualifications and Tools:

Familiarity with cloud platforms CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of performance testing security testing and usability testing
Experience in Web Applications
Knowledge and experience of Cloud technologies and databases
Preferred experience with Playwright SeleniumCypressorTestCafefor UI Automation
PostmanRestassuredfor API testing
Familiar with GenAI Tools for testing and automation purposes
