You use your ability to interpret and align planning data to ensure informed decision-making

As the Senior Advisor Workforce Planningyoullbe part of a friendly and dynamic team working closely with stakeholders across Melbourne Schools.The rolewill oversee the academic workloads process coordinate governance and communications and ensure the Collegeremainscompliant with enterprise agreements.

You see yourself as a leader confidently taking ownership of workforce planning activities such as reporting and financial modelling. Youare confident inprovidingstrategic guidanceand recommendations to Senior College leaders shaping decisions that drive College success.

To be successful in this positionyoullhave:

  • Demonstrated experience inestablishingand developing systems tools and processes to support strategic and operational planning preferably in the tertiary education environment.

  • High level interpersonal skills ability to develop strong working relationships with staff at various organisational levels and influence internal and external clients.

  • Demonstrated diagnosticanalyticaland problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise autonomous judgement and provide creative solutions to complex business problems.

  • Demonstrated project management experience including the ability toinitiate coordinate and deliver projects through effective planning resource allocation communicationnegotiationand stakeholder management and conduct post-project evaluation and reporting.

  • Proven digital capabilities and technological understanding with an ability to use a variety of tools to ensure an end-to-end technology supported process and visualisation of outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policiesprocedures and systems andprovidesound strategic advice in relation to operational and strategic planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to forge collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries and to connect and work with diverse stakeholders tomaintainpositive productive relationships that influence improvements in planning and operations functions.
