As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Day Shifts in Rochester NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a food and beverage manufacturing and/or warehouse location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms access issues medical situations and/or equipment and vehicle concerns.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas docks parking lots and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft.
- Monitor and control access at gates doors and loading areas verify identification and/or delivery documentation as directed and direct drivers employees and visitors to appropriate check-in points.
- Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity incident details and shift notes and communicate conditions to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
