What you will be doing:
- Provide full ownership of the Lobby Lounge operation including service delivery financial performance brand execution and guest experience
- Lead mentor train and develop the Lobby Lounge team to deliver a flawless meaningful and authentic luxury experience in a personal and engaging manner
- Act as a visible leader on the floor engaging with guests and proactively elevating personalized experiences
- Develop and manage budgets forecasts labor plans payroll accuracy and cost controls ensuring productivity and profitability targets are achieved
- Implement effective cost control measures across food beverage labor and operating expenses by identifying efficiencies and maximizing resources
- Drive guest satisfaction by analyzing feedback trends and performance metrics implementing continuous improvement strategies
- Lead all recruitment onboarding training performance management succession planning and colleague development including ongoing feedback performance reviews and career pathing
- Champion colleague engagement initiatives and action planning based on engagement survey results and colleague feedback
- Oversee inventory management operating par levels purchasing and beverage controls
- Partner with Culinary and Beverage teams on menu development food tastings cocktail and wine list creation product quality and innovation
- Strategize and execute new products service offerings upsell opportunities promotions and programming
- Ensure all aspects of the outlet atmosphere meet brand standards including cleanliness maintenance music and entertainment
- Collaborate with Marketing and PR on brand storytelling promotions and positioning
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety food safety liquor licensing and brand standards including regular audits
- Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends to maintain a best-in-class Lobby Lounge experience
- Host and lead monthly departmental meetings covering hotel objectives guest satisfaction financial results colleague engagement health & safety recognition sustainability and brand standards
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years experience at Lobby Lounge or Bar General Manager level (or equivalent) operating with full performance accountability of a successful brand operated restaurant
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a demanding multi-cultural diverse environment within required deadlines
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Proven ability to analyze data and trends create strategies for improvement and take risks
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Highly organized and ability to work well under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Vision and ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to create and promote a fun working environment
- Proficient with Micros Avero and MS Office or similar an asset
