Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Federal Patrol Driver in Bushnell FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post and requires a valid drivers license and it is an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. Bring agility reliability and integrity while delivering through teamwork and strong communication.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government law enforcement location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas buildings parking lots and perimeter to help identify unusual activity unsecured areas and/or potential hazards.
- Respond to calls for service alarms and critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with on-site staff and local responders as directed.
- Control access at designated points by verifying identification monitoring authorized entry and exit and/or directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
- Complete required reports and logs including patrol activity incident documentation and/or shift pass-down information per site post orders and Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
