What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production areas loading and unloading points and the perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by post and location.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification issuing visitor credentials maintaining entry and exit logs and directing visitors and contractors to approved routes.
• Complete timely reports for security-related incidents alarms and unusual activity and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an EMT Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an F85 or F89 Certificate of Fitness for New York only.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
