As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Rockingham NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license giving you variety as you conduct routine rounds document activity and support site teams with Allied Universals agile reliable and people-first approach.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking areas and the outer grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points for employees contractors and visitors including verifying identification supporting sign-in processes and directing personnel to appropriate areas in accordance with site rules.
• Observe and report hazards and unusual conditions such as unsecured doors damaged fencing or suspicious behavior and communicate findings through radio updates shift logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
