Job Summary

SUMMARY

The Customer Support Specialist (CSS) requires outstanding customer service skills excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders attention to detail and a proactive approach to seamless service delivery to our customers. The CSS will provide daily support in the Contact Center coordinating service for our clients and their customers. The CSS will sell and reinforce the company competitive value proposition in every interaction with shippers recipients and partners as required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Build trusted relationships to ensure excellent service

Serve as front line logistics support for shippers of perishable goods and their customers

Provide proactive information to our shippers and their customers

Understand and manage the emotional expectations of all supply chain stakeholders

Answer inquiries from shippers and recipients

Identify new areas of opportunity and work with the Sales team to bring in new business

Flexibility in work schedule including Saturday Sunday and evening shifts

Additional responsibilities as assigned


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

One to three years of prior experience in a Contact Center and/or logistics environment preferred

Familiarity with packaging requirements for perishable and consumable products preferred

Background in perishables cold chain or related field a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other applications as required

The CSS should be motivated charismatic have high energy a sense of service responsibility and a willingness to learn and train on a dynamic business model

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in areas where only limited standardization exists. Excellent conflict resolution skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
