Job Description
As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol - Flexin Waldorf MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests associates and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail environment.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors entrances and exits receiving areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior potential hazards and/or unauthorized access; document observations and incidents in daily activity reports and/or incident reports per Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support loss prevention and operational teams by observing and reporting theft indicators policy noncompliance and/or disturbances and by providing a visible presence during peak shopping hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
