Security Officer Full-Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Driver in Commercial Point OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail mall location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents assist guests and store teams with directions and concerns and communicate clearly with property staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to every shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed at a retail and mall location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors entrances stockroom corridors and exterior perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe for unusual activity potential theft indicators and/or policy violations and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional verbal engagement.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Document patrols incidents and customer interactions in required reports and logs and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
