Job Description
As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in Queens you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at an Aero and Defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and responding to alarms and requests with professionalism. You will document observations assist with access control and visitor interactions and communicate clearly with the team while acting with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors tenants and/or employees by carrying out security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings corridors loading areas parking areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry issue visitor directions as needed and document arrivals departures and/or deliveries per site policy.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation communicate observations to supervisors and/or site contacts and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and reporting details promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
