Join DKB Code Factorys Kreditwelt/Ablage team as a Junior Frontend Engineerand take ownership of the frontend code powering the loan process forbusiness customers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a criticalproduct within a tech hub embedded in one of Germanys largest banks. Youwill collaborate closely with UX designers backend engineers and productowners to build maintainable user-centric frontend solutions that make a realimpact.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain frontend code promoting best practices and high code quality.
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement accessible user-friendly interfaces aligned with design standards.
- Deliver assigned features of low to medium complexity predictably and on time.
- Lead the migration of the frontend component library to a modern design system with comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and execute a plan to migrate end-to-end tests to Playwright improving automation reliability.
- Participate actively in refinement meetings code reviews and team knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with backend engineers to clarify API contracts and ensure seamless integration.
Following qualifications would be in line with our desired profile for this position:
- Proven experience with frontend development using Typescript and .
- Familiarity with styled components Storybook and Vitest.
- Solid understanding of testing frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver features on time with attention to detail and quality.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn adapt and grow in a fast-paced regulated environment.
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about internationalisation (i18n) best practices.
- Mid-level German speaking skills or above
