As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Oceanside CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control greet team members and visitors with strong customer service and communicate observations with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees drivers and visitors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines for security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the building loading dock areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points checking identification and/or shipping documentation as directed and directing visitors and drivers to the appropriate area.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and request additional support from site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain activity logs including patrol observations access activity and incident documentation and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
