Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Arrestee Transport in Largo FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and respond to incidents while providing strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and/or local law enforcement as required.
- Monitor and control access at designated entry points verify identification and/or authorization when required and document visitor vehicle and contractor activity per site policy.
- Complete timely documentation such as activity logs and incident reports maintain required equipment readiness and follow all applicable training firearms handling and use of force guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be a graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
- Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- Have 2 Years Law Enforcement/Military/Corrections Experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
