Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Driver Patrol in Brownsville TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to store staff and guests while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors back-of-house areas entrances exterior perimeters and parking areas; working conditions may vary by location.
- Respond to alarms disturbances theft-related incidents and/or medical events in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Monitor cameras and other security-related systems control access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence.
- Document incidents observations and patrol activities in written reports and follow Allied Universal and client protocols for evidence handling incident escalation and/or use-of-force reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
