Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas as an armed patrol officer helping to reduce security-related incidents through a visible presence routine rounds and clear communication with staff and visitors. You will respond to concerns with professionalism document key activity and deliver customer service with integrity. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and Act 235 Qualification.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients donors visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and critical incidents in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with medical staff and/or local responders as needed.
- Monitor access points verify authorization for entry and help to control traffic flow during peak donation hours deliveries and shift changes.
- Complete required reports and logs document incidents and observations and communicate notable activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Possess an Act 235 Qualification Pennsylvania only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
