What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of process areas tank farms docks parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees contractors and deliveries; control entry and exit in accordance with post orders and client requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications directing traffic and/or crowds and assisting first responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs including patrol activity incidents and maintenance issues; communicate security-related concerns promptly to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
