What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital grounds parking areas entrances corridors and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents medical facility alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring designated entrances verifying identification when required directing visitors to appropriate locations and reporting suspicious behavior per site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports patrol logs and shift documentation and communicate noteworthy activity to the supervisor and/or incoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
