What the role will entail

Lead stakeholder engagement and project planning to deliver data solutions aligned with business goals
Partner with data science business intelligence (BI) and cross-functional teams to apply insights
Build scalable data lakes warehouses and extract transform load/extract load transform (ETL/ELT) pipelines using Structured Query Language (SQL) and cloud tools
Automate workflows and optimize infrastructure for advanced analytics
Ensure data quality through checks architecture oversight and pipeline maintenance
Monitor and improve system performance reliability and scalability

What were looking for

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or any related field
At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with proficiency in Hadoop Spark Kafka Structured Query Language (SQL)/non-relational (NoSQL) databases and scripting languages (Python Java C Scala)
Background in building data pipelines and stream-processing systems
Proficiency in Hadoop Spark Kafka Structured Query Language (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Ability to use tools such as Apache Airflow and Azkaban and cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
Strong communication leadership and collaboration skills with a problem-solving mindset and passion for innovation
