Job Description
As a Security Officer - Refinery Gate Driver in Carrollton KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide clear communication and customer service while supporting daily operations with integrity and teamwork in a caring people-first culture. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license in the job state is required.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies access control processes and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings process areas and perimeter routes to help to identify unusual conditions unauthorized activity spills and/or releases and other policy violations and document observations per post orders.
- Monitor cameras intrusion detection fire panels and/or other site monitoring systems and complete timely reports logs and incident documentation using required formats and systems.
- Support site entry requirements by verifying identification visitor authorizations delivery documentation and required protective equipment compliance as directed by site policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- An EMT certification is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A F85 or F89 Certificate of Fitness is required for New York only.
- Previous firefighting experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
