Qualifications:

Join us and youll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing research and development facilities and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Youll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the clients expectations scope budget and schedule for assigned tasks youll effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Youll also provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline highly interactive team will produce installation details single-line diagrams electric room layouts motor control elementaries connection diagrams cable schedules control panel layouts and grounding lighting and power plans.
Responsibilities:
Here is what youll need:
- Bachelors or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
- At least 6 years of Electrical Engineering Experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Services During Construction (SDC) or Construction Administration (CA) experience (e.g. submittal reviews RFI responses design verification walks field observation reports)
- Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale CA minimum 4 days per week
Ideally youll also have:
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Professional Engineering License (PE) Preferred in the State of California
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams including multi-disciplinary teams
- Passionate about buildings and construction
