Job Description
As a Security Officer - NYS Licensed Rounds in East Syracuse NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will control access where needed document observations and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Guided by Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity you will deliver professional customer service on every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and post orders at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas warehouses offices parking lots and perimeter points documenting observations per site requirements.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor contractor and delivery check-in and/or routing in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Complete detailed reports of patrol activity incidents and unusual conditions and communicate updates to oncoming personnel and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- New York State Security Guard License required.
- CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
