Were looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Exeter this role youll help us sign up the best restaurants across Exeter and the surrounding regions improving our proposition for customers and identifying new ways to fuel our rapid growth.

What Youll Be Doing
Youll be joining the Regional UK & Ireland team reporting to the Regional Manager. We are experts in the local markets we serve and this role is all about being out on the road finding hidden gems and being the face of Deliveroo in Exeter and the surrounding area.
Heres what your day-to-day might look like:
Pipeline Management: Map prospect pitch and close new restaurants across your region acting as a city-level expert who knows exactly which spots local customers crave.
Strategic Outreach: Engage with restaurant owners through physical visits calls and social media to demonstrate the value of Deliveroos technology.
Seamless Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure new partners are set up quickly and efficiently.
Partner Success: Drive restaurant performance within the critical first eight weeks of signing to ensure long-term success on the platform.
Community Engagement: Attend restaurant meet-ups and stay immersed in the local food scene to identify up-and-coming culinary talent.
What Youll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Sales & Negotiation: Proven experience in business development or hunting roles with the ability to structure win-win deals for both partners and Deliveroo.
Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of the economics of food delivery and the ability to hit demanding monthly targets.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships face-to-face over the phone and through digital channels.
Operational Ownership: A tenacious self-motivated approach to managing your own region and taking ownership of partner success.
Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a car are required as you will be frequently travelling across Exeter and the surrounding areas.
