What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and telecom location by carrying out security procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms cameras access control alerts and/or communication channels then routing calls for service and coordinating responses with on-site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting events and escalating notifications per post orders.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports including incident details shift activity radio and phone communications and/or visitor and contractor activity as assigned.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter verifying doors gates and restricted areas while noting unusual activity and changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security experience or have a college degree.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
