Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Facility Driver in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location where you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication all while upholding our values of teamwork integrity and putting people first.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises as required by site policies.
- Document and report security-related incidents hazards and/or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents as required.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and adhere to all applicable regulations and company policies regarding armed patrol duties.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions related to security-related procedures emergency response and client-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
