Job Description
As a Security Officer - Retail Dispatch in Mason OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location you will help coordinate security-related responses monitor cameras and alarms track access control activity and support officers in the field through clear radio and computer-based communication. You will be a calm customer-focused point of contact helping to deter incidents through timely information sharing and accurate documentation while living our agile reliable innovative people-first integrity-driven culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and guests by following site-specific security-related procedures retail location policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Operate the dispatch function by monitoring radios phones and/or CCTV systems receiving calls for service and coordinating responses with on-site personnel and local responders when required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner gathering key details documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location common areas and perimeter watching for unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations and reporting findings.
- Complete required security-related reports activity logs and incident documentation in a timely manner and communicate updates to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 6 Months is required.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
