Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post so you will use a company or site vehicle as needed while documenting observations and communicating clearly with teams. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control practices and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing buildings parking areas loading docks and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms cameras and other security-related systems when assigned and document observations patrols and incidents using required reports and logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying management and/or emergency services according to post orders.
• Support traffic flow and visitor processing at gates and delivery areas including verifying credentials directing drivers to designated locations and following established entry and exit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of law enforcement military and/or corrections experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
