Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rover in Tuscaloosa AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine rounds stay highly visible and help to deter security-related incidents while assisting patients visitors and staff with respectful customer service and clear communication. Using an agile reliable and innovative approach you will document activity with a computer and/or tablet work as a team and act with integrity in every interaction.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and respond to alarms calls for assistance and other service requests; assist with visitor wayfinding and support staff with routine security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support when directed by site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Document observations incidents and unusual activity in written reports and logs and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have CPR certification preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
