What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a retail mall location including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including providing assistance coordinating with site contacts and/or requesting public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas storefront corridors loading and service areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor and/or control access points and restricted areas verify credentials when required and assist with crowd and line management during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activity using written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
